I haven't seen much in the way of voice synthesis for Linux, although I
haven't been a linux user for that long.  I don't even have sound working on
my machine (YET!).

A general accessability question might get a better response on
http:\\SlashDot.org.  They have a vaugely regular feature called "Ask
SlashDot".  These questions consistenly get good feedback and reasonably
thoughtful answers.

SlashDot is severly table-driven, but what little graphics it has aren't
important to navigation.
