modems

so, i've discovered that practically every 56K modem on the planet is
actually a winmodem, and especially every PCI one.  i managed to get a
refund on the one i wrote about last time, but that still leaves me without
a modem... can anyone else tell me what they've had luck with?  i need
something internal, preferably PCI, but i do still have one ISA slot open.
