During the install, it asks the question if you'd like the graphical
login or not.  If you answer "yes" then it's all done automatically.

Yes.  As long as you select both, they are both installed for you
during the initial installation.

I never tried, but I'm sure you can.  If you really want to
know, I can check into it for you.

I added "FVWM" to the list of window managers you can select
during login.  That was simple, editing a couple config files.
(I didn't even read any documentation)

Understood, and those were good questions.

It's definitely a WHOLE lot easier to get KDE & GNOME running that
it was on Redhat 5.2.
