Red Hat 6.0 released

Red Hat 6.0 released with 2.2 kernel, SMP support

Red Hat Software Inc. announced this week that its Linux 6.0 version is
now available. The new release includes the 2.2 Linux kernel, IBM Corp.'s
speech recognition software, and a number of new or enhanced features. The
boxed version of Red Hat Linux 6.0 will cost $40-80 when it hits retail
outlets in May. In the meantime, a free copy can be downloaded from the
company's Web site.
