Tape Backup Units

Hello fellow KLUG'ers,

Anyone here used the Exabyte Mammoth or Mammoth-LT or the HP SureStore
DAT24?? We are looking for a 14-24GB TBU we can use and I would like to
get something tried and true that works with Linux/Solaris and NT.

Also anyone know of any GUI based backup software that is curses or
java based and if it is java based SSL enabled?? I am curious what
app's exist that ppl are using in production. I love tar, ufsdump
and ufsrestore but my boss would like a GUI :(
