Additional note/correction regarding a previous....

...message, which implied that the Linux meeting being held in Chicago
on July 24th and 25th is affiliated with IBM Corporation.

This meeting is NOT so affiliated! I drew that inference since my initial
contact was from someone sending from an IBM domain, and the message
referred only to "my company".

The group staging the weekend event described previously is Linexpo, and 
Chicago is the first in a series of weekend meetings being organized
around the US.  If you are interested in attending or participating,
please see the web site at: http://www.linexpo.com

If you choose to participate as a speaker, panelist, lecturer, or
installer, please send me personal email, as there are some advantages to
organizing this as a group (KLUG) event. If you wish to register for any
of the events, either as a participant or attendee, please indicate that
you are a KLUG member, as it will again help the group as a whole.

Again, this event is not an IBM-sponsored affair, and those of you
wondering why we need help a huge corporation like IBM need wonder no
more. This appears to be a much smaller company organizing and mobilizing
volunteers, and it will recognize group participation.
