OK, Dumb question time.
My backspace doesn't work when in an application. It works fine at the
shell prompt, tho.
I'm using Redhat 5.2. I'm trying to ftp to myself (to test something), and
backspace give me ^H.
I'm using vt220 emulation (from Reflection), and I've checked the
/etc/termcap file, and that has kb=^H,
and I did a captoinfo on that emulation, and created a vt220a with KBS=^H
in it, tic'd it, and it still doesn't work.
(Yes, I changed my TERM variable, and exported it.)
Is there another place I haven't looked?
Thanks in advance for any help!
