Swap device for a server

I am currently building a small developer workgroup server out of mostly old
parts. The only really new part is a 10G IBM Ultra/DMA EIDE (9.5ms, 512kb
Cache, 5400rpm) drive. I also have a PCI Ultra IDE controller, so I can get
the full throughput from the 10G disk.

The question is, do I put one of the small (100M-500M) slow old IDE hard drives
I have on the secondary channel for swap space, or would it be better to use
the 10G drive for both swap and data, leaving out the small hard drive
altogether? I do not plan on using the secondary IDE channel at all if I do
not put the smaller hard drive in.

Inquiring Minds Want to Know.

Thanks!
