Powerbook G3

Hello everyone,

I am thinking about getting a Powerbook G3 at the end of the summer, and
i was wondering if it would be possible to put linux on that.  Do you
need a special version of linux to install on the mac or what?  The
reason i ask is, i was talking to a friend of mine at K college who is a
computer science major, and he has linux on his mac. But i was just
wondering if anyone out there in the klug realm ever tried this.  And if
i did get this powerbook, if anyone out there would help me install
linux and help me get it running.  Or if they have any other suggestion
of other laptops i should get instead.
