same problem i am having!

well this is a toshiba dvd drive, it came w/ my gateway computer.

I am pretty sure its NOT the media now.. cuz my 5.0 5.2 or 6.0 cds wont
work! So i am going to unplug my 32x atapi (which is causing the trouble,
and try to install it off my dvd... wish me luck!
