About Linux USB mouse

Dear sir,

	I am interested in having a USB mouse under Linux. I knew the latest
Kernel 2.3.8 supports USB devices. I have downloaded to my RH-6.0 machine
and rebuilt it. Now my RH is running kernel 2.3.8. I have no problem with
the USB keyboard, but I can't bring up the USB mouse. Is there a trick ??
	If you have successfully brought up USB under Linux, kindly tell me
the procedures ASAP, because I have a project due soon. Your help will be
greately appreciated.
