While I cannot be confused for a spreadsheet expert, I have it
that Wingz is a very good spreadsheet, having used it a little 
and been threatened with the prospect of writing add-ons (or 
plug-ins) for the beast, and thus read some relevent documentation. 
I don't recall if Excel file compatibility is included, but would be
very surprised if it were NOT included.

for wingz and other spreadsheets....
