One of the great things about Linux is its abil;ity to wring the last bit of
performance from a given rig. From a power user or commercial user, these
speed increases are serious business. For a home user, even semi power user,
the cost vs benefit is not so clear. Dance with the one that brung ya, but be
on the lookout for a flashier one to take home eventually. Just make sure she
don't pick yer pocket.
