Linux does not support DVD at this time, although I am told that it will very
soon. As for the TV tuner card, many if not most, are supported but the video
4 linux api, so you could watch TV via X with an ethernet connection. My
experiende with video over X is you need a good PCI ethernet card, an NE2000
ISA intermititanly overruns, causing a collision storm, and usually soaks up
loads of CPU time. My WD8013 ISA shared memory card does a decent job, but
still jitters occasionally when another CPU intensive job is running. With a
Linksys tulip based card the machine never misses a beat.
