Red Hat 6.1 press release is unclear, and an idea...

It turns out that the press reports on RH 6.1 are a little bit muddled.
When you buy Official REd Hat Linux 6.1, you get a Star Office 5.1a
CDROM; it essentially ships as a separate product. Most of the other
additions that are mentioed (LDAP support, PXE technology, etc.) seem
to be packaged as .rpm's as part of the core distribution.

What Bruce has been doing is shipping the core Red Hat distro, plus
add-ons at his dicretion. If he needs to go to second disk,understand that
RH has been distrbuting more than 2 CDROMS for over a year. This is not
an unexpected development.

Question for everyone: Can KLUG help? Are there aspects of this CDROM
         distribution project others are willing to take on? If so, now
         may be a good time to do so, certainly a good time to consider
         it. So far, KLUG has not been involved in this effort, should
         we become more involved?

I invite comment on this, and if anyone wants to step forward to help,
please write private e-mail to Bruce or myself.

                                                        Regards,
                                                        ---> RGB <---
