In my experience with win95,if you are in safe mode all you get is the
option to set the configurtion manualy. With win95 I have had it
succesfully detect a few different sound card/scuzzy controllers,
Generaly as a 'TRANTOR',and it works fine in Windows, but on my system, I
can't get linux to recognize it regardless of what I do to it. I have no
trouble in linux on any of my other systems though so he may have a
system like mine, That just won't run scuzzy in linux.(even a regular
adaptec aha152x)
