New computer

Hi all. Well I thought I had all covered in the purchase of new box. Guess
again. My modem while not a winmodem is a PCI connect modem. I am seeing on
RedHat that PCI is not supported in linux!!!. Is this true or am I doing
something wrong. Modem is  USR 56K V.90 HW PCI 2676 OEM------ If as I
suspect this modem is not supported I will have some words to say to seller.
Any help appreciated.  BobK
