Next time someone mentions that Linux is written by a crowd that we don't
need to take seriously, point them to:

This rather firmly debunks the notion of Linux developers as belonging to
some stereotype or another, such as "pimply-faced-15 year-olds with no
life", or "super programmers like Linus Torvalds", or even "Idealists like
Richard Stallman or Eric Raymond". Actually, all of these are
generally offered up as perjoratives. They are harmful portayals; the
gives some better insight into the characteristics of active members of
the contributing Linux community....
