Unfortunately the company I work for is an
International that uses VB web apps A LOT. Don't ask
me why, I've already asked and they couldn't tell me.
I think it is because that is all they know at the
home office CIS department. Oh well. Seems as if my
question has stirred more than it was intended. 

Thanks for all the information, I guess I will be
spending sometime in Barnes & Nobles or Borders this
weekend sifting through books.
