Modem

To whom it may concern

	I'm a new Linux user (installed yesterday) and I'm wondering, how do I
configure the modem?  I went thru and tried to configure it the way the user
manual instructed me but it always came up with " modem busy" or "Sorry,
can't find modem".  I'm using and HP CPU with a Rockwell HCF 56K
Speakerphone PCI modem.  Nothing I've tried works.  If you could give me a
little info about this matter it would help me greatly.  It would also help
if it was kinda, step by step.  I'm not use to the Linux system yet.
