novice linux list

Bob,

I would like to join the novice Linux user's list. Also, if you know of any
resources I should consider please let me know. I have very little
experience with Unix and recently installed Winlinux so I could work on C++
programming assignments in an environment similar to the labs at Western. I
am considering installing another hard drive and putting RedHat on it.

Thanks,
John Eckhardt
