OK, so you can get into Linux. Now, do you know if you downloaded lilo in 
soruce or in binary-executable form? You may have downloaded a file that 
has a name that ends in .tar or .tgz??

We have to get that file onto your Linux system, so you can look at it.... 
how large is this file?

I'm interested if we can out it on a single floppy disk, and I'm assuming 
you've downloaded onto a Windows machine. Please clarify these things, and 
we can proceed.
