Agree.  But what it is that yanks my chain is that alot of these guys are journalists who are supposed to be reporting news (i.e. facts, truth, etc..) not uninformed and clearly unresearched opinion.  Like the recent ZDnet article which states that Linus says that Mac OS X "sucks",  when the quote is from a discusion of the Mach micro-kernel architecture.   Apparently you can get anything "printed" these days,  isn't it the job of editors to slap up their writers on occasion?  The entire approach by "news" organizations these days drives me batty.

And you usually can't make any progress when your in a discussion with someone who presumes omniscience or didn't read the context of a statement.
