Get the IBM Intellistation M-Pro P2-300 they have for $149 and add a 2nd
CPU (it has the slot for one). Those boxes are rock solid with Linux!

It has onboard SCSI so you can add SCSI devices if you like. Everything
is well supported with Linux, even the onboard sound. They also support
ECC memory to make them even more stable.

I've run Intellistations on my desktop for years (and I'm typing this
email on a M-Pro 933! :) All my company's servers (web, proxy, mail,
DNS, intranet, Citrix, Windoze2K) are running on Intellistations, and
soon the KLUG server will be upgraded to one my company recently retired
(a dual Intellistation Z-Pro Pentium Pro 200).

I also ran one at home for a long time. I can't say enough good things
about them!
