I thought I'd post the bit about the IDE cable.... Sometimes, we all forget
the check the "little" or "simple" things... Lost a day 1/2 to that one...

I did.... I've already disabled network booting.... I've disabled APM
support, wake on X, etc... I'll check / test it some more to see fi by chance
I solved it and don't realize it yet...
