>>>>Anyone have any experience with the HP ze4220?
>>>But ya gotta remember, It's an HP/Compaq. I speak with experience here.
>>>This box that I am using now is a Compaq. Propriety software, _and_
>>>hardware. HP's are the same. I bought one year ago last Nov. for a server.
>>For laptops you have: HP, Compaq, Toshiba, and Sony. Pick the least of
>>all evils. And what works all depends on the model.
>Micron, Dell, Toshiba, Sony, Gateway. Those are the real options. I would like to give
>more business to Micron because of there solid machines and backing, but
Right, I never though about Gateway. I'll check them out.
>I have standardized on Dell notebooks already at this location. I have had 3 notebooks repaired
>under warranty in the past couple of months. Dell actually sends someone
>from Airborne express (that day or the next) to pick your PC up. You hand them the notebook,
>they pack it in their own box and take it. (this was the standard low-end warranty)
My experience with Dell is that calling for repair is about all one ever
does with them, and they all seem SOOOO SLLLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWWW.... compared
to other models of similair specs.
>BTW, Athlon XPs ROCK!
Ok, I just wondered if "XP" meant something screwey. I looked it up and
understand what that is now.
