Yes, and native, no frame buffer required.

It is definitely accelerated. My display at work isn't so I'm an expert
on the difference. Window popup and moving even the XMMS windows is
instant, no delay what-so-ever.

Setting a few things in /etc/sysconfig/harddisks and adding idebus=66 to
grub's startup line really helped. But I don't think it is optimal
yet. Not that performance is bad.

Nope, but I put a blank in and the nautilus burn:/// window popped right
up. I figured that was a good sign.

No idea yet, and it is ACPI, not APM, so I assume a wee bit of hacking
will be involved to get really good battery life. But every laptop is
ACPI now.
I'm building the ACPI modules on anther workspace right now.
