Yes, very much so.

Shutdown frequently results in a reboot, one has to press the power
button to turn off. I think this is a no-acpi thing.
X has crashed once, it restarted, the machine did not hang.
Under REALLY high load audio, and such real time things fall apart. DMA
support for this IDE chipset is clearly not 100% there yet, but I'm
confident that this will resolve itself within a couple of kernel
releases as talk about this has taken place on the kernel mailling list.
USB plugging and unplugging of keyboard and mouse has been flawless
except the time I had to reboot by wireless mouse.
I haven't ran the battery for more than two hours.
I'm red-green color blind and the amber/green indicators on the front
are hard for me to understand.
PCMCIA wireless (using it now) has worked flawlessly as has my USB cell
phone.
Playing DVD's with oogle works well, with only the occassion clip due
again to non-100% DMA support.
Doing a Ctrl-Alt-F? moving between X and a console has always worked,
but it does occasionally produce a garish and off-putting light show
reminiscent of The Matrix.

> (or in powersaving mode) the X display screws up (like some laptops)?
It has worked every single time so far.
> My newest Dell came in yesterday, and it may be going back too.
> For different reasons than the previous one . . .
Grrr, Dell....
