Have you tried it with the KLUG projector?  Works OK?

I wanted to try my wide-aspect display on it last night, but forgot.

That's the only thing that has me concerned.  That can become really
annoying if it happens very often.

Have you tried a 32 bit (cardbus) card?  They didn't work in my Sony,
nor do they work in my new Dell.  (The Orinoco is a 16 bit card)

What happens if you set DMA on hda?  Does it trash your filesystem, 
or just report some error?
