I needed a new DVD write at work, so I bought one of these.
I stuck it in my SuSE 9.2 PC and it burns CDR's without a problem.

I probably won't get a chance to burn a DVD until tomorrow, but that
shouldn't be any different than burning a CDR.  I report back on DVD
burning if anyone is interested (let me know).
