OK, my DVD+R-DL media FINALLY arrived, and I burned a 7673MB ISO image,
3462 kb/s (2.5X) in 41 minutes 33 seconds according to k3b on SuSE 9.2.

The resulting DVD seems to be readable in my laptop, and it even boots
from the DVD (it's a copy of the SuSE 9.2 professional DVD).  Although I
haven't run a full install using it, yet.
