It's about priorites. Some people pay over $80 a month for cable.
I would never do that, but then I pay $59 monthly for 3Mbit Internet
just for the house.

Since you are already running IPCop, why not upgrade to version 1.4
Throw another nic in that box and make it the BLUE interface for wireless.
Lock down the mac id and setup an IPSec tunnel for you internal LAN.
The client software is also available for NT5.0, and might work on 5.1.
