[KLUG Hardware] Lite-On Internal CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive

I'm thinking about get the Lite-On 52x32x52 Internal CD-RW/DVD-ROM
Drive (SOHC-5232K) at Amazon.com.

They have it for $57.95 with the final cost to my door about
$70.01.

BUT, there seems to be some controversy about what drive they
actually ship.  And, it looks like the drive actually comes from
Office Depot.  BUT, I can't find ANY Lite-On (or LiteOn) drives at
the Office Depot Web site.

Question: Will this drive (SOHC-5232K) work with SuSE 9.x?

Question: Any other good place to buy from?
