[Novices] DNS Help

Is this live on the internet?  If you are connected to the net and
resolving addresses it will try to assume that it's part of the outside
world.  Try the host name daggit.internal. or just plain daggit. 
Otherwise it may be trying to resolve names from an outside fqdn that
doesn't exist.
