Mplayer with the Win32.dll codecs will play most everything.

Modify the instructions here for 9.2
http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/lofiversion/index.php/t5859.html
where they say 9.1 you should be able to substitute 9.2.
If they do not have the Win32.dlls then google for them with suse9.2
and you should come up with similar a how-to for that.

You should be able to install everything you need with yast once you
find the correct install source.

If all else fails you can get the Win32.dll codecs here:
http://www4.mplayerhq.hu/homepage/design7/codecs.html

I haven't tried this on 9.2 but I have done it on 9.3 and 10.0.

There are a ton of tutorial how-to sites out there, Google is your
friend.
