OK..... Because I need to learn this, I have downloaded this Firefox
1.0 to my desktop again so I can learn to install it.

Adam, you said:
"What you probably downloaded is a 'tarball'. This is only for those
who
for some sick-n-twisted reason either (a) want to build the thing
themselves because they need some bizarre option or (b) are masochistic
enough to use a distribution that doesn't do package management."

Where do and how do I get this package manager? Shouldn't I have one
with my distro? I'm running SuSe 9.1 Pro and KDE desktop. I also have
DSL to the Internet so going to the web to get something is not a
problem. I would like to install this Firefox and see if I like it. So
far, I'm not impressed with the graphics I see on the Linux browsers.
