[Novices] recording on a floppy

In SuSE 9.3 and Gnome, there is a floppy ICON on the desktop, when
double-clicked it opens the file browser (just like "Home") and you can
drag & drop files to/from the floppy.

Or if you're using the command line, copy to "/media/floppy/", or
something like that....
