Verify that you are connecting to the correct ssid and that there is not more than one ssid in your area with the same name. Lots of people like to purchase wireless routers and do a "set it and forget it." Change the ssid to something like your house number and street. Or if you are paranoid make it something like your initials followed by your zipcode (i.e. njr49002).

Subject: [Novices] Fedora core 5 wireless setup

I recently installed Fedora core 5, everything seems to be working but
the wireless. under the network configuration hardware it see the card,
Cisco system 350.

i try to connect to the network with kwifimanager it sees my network but
when i try to switch it tells me the wep key is invalid altho there is
no wep key on ATM. I tried to setup the wireless under the network
configuration under devices, but it will connect and work for about
5-10mins the stop and i will have to reboot everytime to get it working
agine. I would like to get it working with a wifi program so i dont need
to know everything about the network, i can just scan and connect to it.

any ideas?
