[Novices] BestPractice: How to share email accounts between computers.

Now that I am exploring evolution, I come upon the problem of having two
computers.  I'm wondering what the best practice is to handle email
accounts between multiple computers.  The desktop at home is always
running with Evolution.  When I am on the road, I want to access the
email via my laptop.  What is the best way to do this?  The account is
on a third party email server, if that is significant.
