In Evolution on the machine where you don't want to store the email:
Tools-> Settings->Highlight the account->Edit ->Receiving Options and
select "Leave mail on server."
The only problem is there isn't really any way to get the email you send
from the satellite computer into your main Sent folder. I solve this by
BCC to myself--tho the mail then shows as coming from you rather than as
to whom it's addressed...
