[Novices] some web images (like google maps) won't load in Firefox

Check your Javascript settings in Firefox (Edit --> Preferences --> Web
Features).  Javascript must be enabled, and enabled to allow "Change
Images".  That is a potential fix for the behavior your described on
maps.google.com

If that worked, see what else was fixed with that change.  There could
be more than one gremlin at work here.
