[Novices] Ubuntu/ installing Flash player

Brock,
  First, did you get my post about where to find Term?  If not, look in
the upper menu Applications/Accessories/Terminal.  See the post on how
to add this as a shortcut.
  Second, one of the help systems in Ubuntu is accessed by the lifering
(as the red and white thing thrown from boats) icon on the top panel.
It should be the last icon in the top panel.  The problem with icons is
they they are not truly universal but maybe we'll get there someday.

Lastly, here is a transcript of my installation of flashplayer 7,
mistakes and all.  Hope this helps
