[Novices] Ubuntu/ installing Flash player

Are you using Gnome or KDE as your desktop environment?  If Gnome then 
follow the instructions Mark sent.  If your using KDE then the program 
you want is known as "Konsole".  This is what KDE uses to access the 
command line

For future reference - We need to know the desktop environment the 
person is using so as to be able to lead them where to find the program 
they are looking for in their desktop GUI.
