I'm doing something wrong.

I'm trying Ubuntu 5.1 from the run CD and am trying to get my printer set up. I have gone to:
System / Administration / printing then double click on the "new printer" icon. I get the "step 1 of 2 printer connection" window. The "local printer" is checked as well as the "use another printer by specifying a port" and I can't uncheck this. The next screen lets me pick the brand and model of printer and below this is a specified driver for the printer selected. When I select my printer I assume that I am supposed to install the driver. I get a "Select a PPD file window and nothing happens in here no matter what I do. When I cancel this screen and go back to the "step 2" screen. I hit Apply and the print setup window closes and I go back to the origional print screen with a new icon for the printer in place and saying that the printer is ready. Except,,,,,, it won't print. From either Oo2 or a web page.
 What am I missing?

 Brock
