[Novices] wireless problem fedora 4

I can't get my wireless to work.

Everything looks OK except it doesn't work--ping -> "Destination host
unreachable." The router shows that it's connected and 'ifup eth1'
returns "already running." I shut it down with 'ifdown eth1' and then
repeated 'ifup eth1' and it told me "done." But there's still no IP
address showing and still can't ping the router.

But why do I get the bit rate error? I've tried 'iwconfig eth1 rate
auto' and 'iwconfig eth1 rate 11M auto.'

Here's iwconfig result:

[BEGIN]
