I'm not 100% sure abbout this, but I'm thinking of two potential
solutions.  The first would be to install some Desktop Applet that
allows for network switching.

The second would be to change the metric of the routes so that eth0 is
preffered, and eth1 would be used if eth0 is unreachable?
