Ok.
Like all things, Wiki is an idea or a data-model, then various people
implement the Wiki idea with various levels of detail, extensibility,
and user interfaces.
Honestly, I have to admit I'm a Wiki-nay-sayer. Until someone showed me
wikipedia I pretty much thought the technology was without redemption;
much like blogging. A data-model has to choose somewhere between
extremely regimented (like X.500) and totally unspecified (like M
$-Exchange, often reffered to as the "garbage dump" model). Most Wikis
are much to far to the right end of that scale for my tastes. But
wikipedia at least shows that it can work well, for the correct
application.
Anyone on this list work with any Wiki packages you'd recommend (or
not)?
