Yup.

Depends on your configuration.

If you have two tuner cards, then yes. With my current single tuner
card setup, no. (I plan on adding at least one more tuner card)

You can add as many tuner cards as you can fit and you have CPU power to
run. Stick in four tuner cards, and records three shows at once while
watching/pausing live TV at the same time, or record 4 at once. :-)

Stick in a cheap DVD drive, install ogle or mplayer, and get rid of the
DVD player too! :-)

And best of all (haven't tried it myself yet), is I'm going to build a
second PVR with the frontend only software for my other TV. It doesn't
require as much hardware, everything is stored/recorded on the main
backend PVR, and I can watch the recordings on either TV! :-)

There are keys to increase or decrease the play speed, but
I haven't played with them much.

MythTV defaults to 10 sec rewind & 30 second skip,
but it can be changed to whatever values you like.
It also has other keys to jump ahead or back 10 minutes
(customizable).

It also has a button to completely skip a commercial! :-)

Stop on over any time! (don't pay attention to the ugly case :)
