Do you understand the way Linux handles devices/drives/partitions?

Windows separates different drives and partitions by drive letter
(A: C: D: ...)  but Linux organizes them completely different.
I don't want to dwell on that since it's slightly off-topic from
a command line presentation, but I should probably give a quick
overview if you need it.
