Last night's presentation turned up some topics that themselves would be
worthy of presentations. Maybe one of these will inspire someone:
1.) find (man find), a segue (since Bob insists on the Italian spelling)
into xargs (man xargs) wouldn't be bad either. These two commands make
deep shell magick.
2.) CLAMAV; there is an enourmous amount of functionality here)
http://www.clamav.net/
http://software.othello.ch/mod_clamav/ (Yes, scanning inside Apache
requests)
http://www.openantivirus.org/projects.php#samba-vscan (Real-time
scanning in Samba, as mentioned in presentation)
http://www.dazuko.org/ (Add scanning as a *KERNEL MODULE*, Dude! No
way around that one).
http://www.clamwin.net/ (CLAMAV for that other operating system)
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=10590&release_id=68273 (Scanning SQUID processing)
3.) Ghostscript and its ways of turning this into that (I haven't yet
found the command line options for lead-->gold, but I'm sure it is in
there somewhere).
